Chemistry

Introduction Chemistry is a basic science concerned with the structure and behaviour of atoms (elements); the composition and properties of compounds; the reactions that occur between substances and the resultant energy exchange and the laws that unite these phenomena into a comprehensive system. There are three main branches: 1. Organic chemistry that deals with compounds based on carbon; 2. Inorganic chemistry that deals with compounds dealing with the other elements and 3. Biochemistry that deals with the chemicals and compounds of living things. .
